The RFID technology is based on the ability to memorize and remote access data using electronic devices, called "TAG" or transponders, that are able to reply communicating the information they contain when "questioned".


The availability of an implant for the management of RFID technology constitutes an additional possibility to improve timely control of the Supply Chain, making information contained in RFID tags applied to products, containers, pallets or packages accessible in real time.

These tags, also known as smart labels or smart tags, enable automatic track-and-trace of goods/goods throughout the supply chain.
