Dolciaria Lametina Sud was founded in Lamezia Terme in 1978, when Antonio Ruperto, a young and ambitious salesman in the confectionery industry, decided to set up on his own after years of apprenticeship. It was a big gamble that he and his friend Salvatore Messina took when they decided to set up Dolciaria Lametina Sud srl: a small company with which they began the wholesale distribution of confectionery products, relying on very few resources (a small warehouse of about 300 square metres, just two salesmen and two drivers).

In a short time, the risk paid off and the business expanded: Dolciaria Lametina Sud became a family business, first with his wife Rosa and later with his children Vincenzo and Patrizia. The dream of creating a healthy company that creates jobs matures and finally takes shape! In just a few years, the company became a leader in the sale of raw materials and bakery products on the Calabrian market, earning the esteem and trust of its customers also for the seriousness, fairness and enthusiasm of the business relationships that were gradually built up.

In 1984 the company moved to larger premises (over 2000 square metres) and expanded its range of products, starting to sell frozen products and increasing its fleet of vehicles to be able to transport temperature-controlled products.

In 2005, once again thanks to the tenacity and great entrepreneurial spirit of its founder, Dolciaria Lametina Sud srl, together with other important national companies in the sector, formed a consortium called Innovaction srl: a choice that has proved to be a winning one over time, offering its customers high quality raw materials and products at competitive prices.

Today, Dolciaria Lametina Sud srl is a leading company in the sector and counts among its partners important companies at national level. Thanks to continuous updating, innovation being one of the fundamental values of the company's mission, it is able to support its customers with training and/or demonstration activities, in a modern and well-equipped laboratory or at the customer's premises.
