The Merano Wine House was founded in 1977 by Irma and Josef Hölzl. Until 2010, the company's headquarters were located right in the original offices next to the wine shop. After the headquarters moved to Lana in 2010, the wine shop expanded to Via Roma to offer even more space for the representation of wine craftsmanship.
The wine shop offers ca. 3000 local, national and international labels, in addition to a selection of sparkling wines and spirits of the highest quality, accessories around wine and a small selection of delicacies.
